The Oxford Brookes Business Management Program

With the goal of working full-time in the National Basketball Association (NBA), Craig Luschenat has previously gained experience training NBA players like Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook. A former collegiate basketball player himself, Craig Luschenat spent one season playing at Oxford Brookes University, where he earned a master's degree in business management.

The business management program at Oxford Brookes is a three-year course that can also be completed over an eight-year span by part-time students. In addition to learning core subjects such as financial and business analysis, marketing, and management theory, prospective students are required to complete course requirements in another subject, with options including geography, economics, communication, media, and culture.

Following two years of full-time study, students spend the majority of the third year working on a business and management synoptic module. The prime aspect of the module is an in-depth business analysis of a major company. In the past, students have chosen tech-based companies like LinkedIn, Amazon, and Apple. Students also have the option of dedicating their third year to a work placement and completing course requirements the following year.
